I have learnt a significant amount about the different technologies in the process of constructing this product.

Whilst filming the piece I have learnt that not everything will go as you expect and may include having to re-film. Using the camera has taught me the power of the different camera angles, how a slight change in the angle or height of the camera can change how the audience views the character/object. Also the different techniques when filming; I had to improvise with some of the shots to get the shot I was hoping for, for example I had to improvise a Dolly Track using an office chair to create a smooth track.

I also learnt a lot when editing the final piece. Learning to use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit my product was difficult to completely understand to get the look I was going for. I learnt the effect of the colour scaling, and how to create the desired affect you want the piece to have on the audience. Creating the scale to ensure there is a consistency throughout the product, as well as having to adjust some shots to match the others. Making the shots gritty and darker, which will give a key convention of the thriller genre.
