Q5. How did you attract/ address your audience?

I attracted my audience through the view to make them see a new light. My piece gives them plenty to think about, and may change how they view people. The main Protagonist is also within the target audience, which will give the audience something to relate to, in given circumstances that will relate to everyday life.

Especially with certain shots within the sequence, living in the most watched generation in terms of surveillance, the several shots in the characters bedroom is almost like CCTV almost like he is being watched and in several cases people feel this way. Privacy amongst this generation is very limited, with the amount of hackings you see in the news, people of this generation (my target audience) can feel their every move studied as well as secretly observed. Also with the Bird’s Eye shot up the stairs is almost like the character is being looked down on by those around him.

The audience only witnesses the Protagonist in the sequence, not knowing they will soon think of him as the antagonist. The sequence almost does not make sense, it is just someone walking into a room, sitting at a computer, then walking away; simple as that, however that can create an uncertainty for the audience, this isn’t filmed like something they would have seen before so can unease the audience of what can happen next.
